You make beautiful things.

an eclectic collection of things I love, think about or find beauty in and a place to put my art, photography and inspirations.
While studying for my History of Graphic Design class, I stumbled upon this gem:
1968 Olympics logo designed by Lance Wyman
In order to reflect the cultural heritage of Mexico in this design, Wyman studied ancient Aztec artifacts and Mexican folk art. This influence can be seen in his use of multiple lines to form patterns and the use of pure, bright hues in this revolutionary design.  This is truly a masterpiece of graphic design. If you look at this quick history of Olympics logos, you can see that there has never been a design quite as modern and timeless as this one.
